Vegetable Biryani
Ingredients: 1 cup Basmati rice 1 1/4 tablespoons vegetable lubricate 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves 1 onion, chopped 3 cups drinking-water 1 1/2 teaspoons flavour, or to fashion 2 tablespoons garam masala chili powder to know 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables 1 tablespoon butter
Directions: Rinse and soak rice in the interest 30 minutes; draw off. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium warmness. Saute cumin seeds and cloves for less than 1 hot. Saute the onion, stirring constantly, until brown. Stir in rice and fry for with reference to 1 hot, intoxicating. Stir in the salt water, sarcasm cum grano salis, garam masala, chili powder and vegetables. Bring to a ferment, then reduce animate, cover and simmer seeking 20 minutes, or until all water is occupied. Fluff with a fork and stir in butter before serving.
