Creamy Linguini for Two
Ingredients: 1/2 pound linguine pasta 1 thick slice bacon 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup cream 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon ground white fleck 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions: Bring a large pot of water to a bubble. Add pasta and cook for encircling 7 to 8 minutes or until al dente; depletion. Remove from cook-pot, cover and set aside. Meantime, in a small skillet cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Break up into small pieces and set aside. In the pasta kitty, melt butter over medium-low heat and add cream; heat positively, but do not allow to bluster. Combine cooked pasta with butter/cream synthesis. Add Parmesan cheese and bacon; toss immeasurably. Allow sauce to thicken for a few minutes; add ground white pepper and nutmeg. Serve instantaneously.
